• Reading—basal readers, library reading including chapter books, & phonics
• English—Sentences, grammar, writing & publishing student authored books, journalizing
• Science—Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science, the Human Body
• Social Studies—Communities, The Earth, The Working World, U.S. Government, U. S. History, Famous Americans, Places & Holidays
• Physical Education—Exercise, skill building, team work, jogging, jump-rope, scarf joggling, games
